The Lost Medallion

The Lost Medallion

The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone is a feature movie opening in theaters March 1 2013. This faith-based, family, action/adventure film will thrill children and tweens, six through fourteen, their parents and grandparents. When Daniel Anderson (Alex Kendrick, Courageous, Fireproof and Facing the Giants) visits a foster home to drop off some donations he is quickly roped into telling the kids a story.

The story he tells is about Billy Stone and Allie, two teen-age-friends, who uncover a long- lost-medallion and then accidentally wish themselves back in time. Will the experience give them a new understanding of who they are and what their lives really mean? Daniel finishes his story to the foster children with the Truth about their tremendous value to God, who loves them and created them. The story not only changes the children, but is bound to change all who see the movie.

The Lost Medallion
The Lost Medallion

THE LOST MEDALLION: THE ADVENTURES OF BILLY STONE is about two 13-year-old friends. Billy and Allie, are on a quest for a long lost magical medallion. When they finally find the medallion, evil henchmen come after them. Billy accidentally uses the medallion’s power to send him and his friend back in time to where the whole mess behind the medallion started. There that they must learn to work together to defeat an evil warlord so they can go back to where they belong.

THE LOST MEDALLION: THE ADVENTURES OF BILLY STONE is an action packed family adventure. The central theme is that everyone is created with a purpose and, if you work together, you can accomplish great things. The story avoids overstating its message while still giving great biblical lessons for children. One character delivers a nice finishing touch on the tale by sharing that God has a purpose and a plan for every child. THE LOST MEDALLION is a wonderful family film. The only caution is for very young children who might find the evil warlord a little scary.
